#1 Ensure there are No Ceiling Stains
For sure, you do not want water moving from the roof down into the living area. At times, stains are painted over so while buying a new home, you got to search for painted over stains.

#2 The Wood Gnawing Insects
Termites, as we name them, tend to cause damage that costs over millions of dollars to the timber frames, stumps and floors. These wood gnawing insects like to fester in wet or damp conditions. Ensure the conditions are dry under the house. The debris that lies around attracts termites, so do inquire if there are any.  

#3 Electrical Conditions
Questions to ask yourself-
1.    Do you spot any burn marks around the power points? If yes, that implies that you need a licensed electrician to check the wiring.
2.    Has the fuse box recently been upgraded with the safety switch and circuit breaker? If not, it should be. It will guard your home and you against the dangerous short circuits.
